Learning Media is an important element in learning. Multimedia learning has the most prominent advantage is interactivity. Interactivity that involve physical and mental health of users when trying to program multimedia. Purpose this research is to develop models of Interactive Learning Media Course Basic Concepts of Nursing By Using Free Open Source Software (Foss). The results using the prototyping approach to software development can be developed models of interactive learning media, by using web-based software developer with open source code that are not paid and legal. Through this medium students in a nexible and practical to develop themselves and to practice independently uses the nursing process. The circuit implemented from the manufacture of systems and datanows, creation and writing of scripts and test on the user.
The trial results showed that almost all users (96% or 48 people from sa people) stated that instructional . media Interactive Course Basic Concepts of Nursing & BasiC Human Needs I By Using Free Open Source Software (Foss) is very helpful to accelerate the understanding, nexible and practical for college students. So it is advisable to develop a type of media on other subjects.
