Potensi Daun Dewa (Gynura Pseudochina [L.] DC) Sebagai Larvasida Aedes Aegypti (LINN.) (Potency of lGynura pseudochina (L.)DC. Extract as Aedes aegypti (LINN.) Larvacide

Aedes aegypti is the main vector of dengue virus transmission for dengue fever. The effective method la reduce dengue cases is to used a biological insecticides such as Gynura pseudochina at larval stage of A.aegypti. The research was performed to find out the Gy. pseudochina leafs extracts potential as an Ac. aegypti larvacide. This experimental research conducted with completely randotnized design thai used seven different concentrations (0%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%, 10%). As the result, there lvere mean differences in the Ae. aegypti larvae mortalitv at each concentration of Gy. pseudochina group, except for the concentration 5% 10 6% and 9% to 10%. After 24 hours treatment. LC50 was gained of 6.271% extract concentration with a lower limit at 5.322% and upper limit al 7.005%. This result shows, Gy. pseudochina leafs extracts has proved to be apotential Ae. aegypti larvacide.
