Pemberian Terapi Relaksasi Musik dan Aroma Terapi Terhadap Perilaku Kekerasan Dan Risiko Perilaku Kekerasan Klien Skizofrenia
The Effect of Therapeutic Relaxation Music And Aromatherapy To Violent Behavior And The Risk of Violent Behavior ln Schizophrenia Clients Mental. Music relaxation therapy beneficial for physical and mental health. From the survey the majority of clients were treated at the Provincial Mental Hospital Lampung diagnosed severe mental disorder (schizophrenia) with the commonly encountered violent behavior.
The purpose of this study to determine the effect of therapeutic relaxation music and aromatherapy to violent behavior and the risk of violent behavior in schizophrenia clients Mental Hospital Lampung Province in 2012.The research method used types of quantitative research design prepost test quasi experimental control group with T-dependent test to see before and after therapy and independent T-test to determine the difference in effect between the intervention and control groups. The study population schizophrenic client who experienced violent behavior and the risk of violent behavior are treated at the Regional Mental Hospital Lampung province, with 20 samples.
The results of statistical tests obtained p-value = 0.000 significant at α = 5% there was a significant effect of music therapy and aromatherapy relaxation toward violent behavior and schizophrenic client's risk of violent behavior in the intervention group. Statistical test results.obtained in the control group p-value = 0.338 significant at α= 5% there was nq significant effect, because the control group did not receive delivery of a therapeutic relaxation music and aromatherapy.
Conclusion: that there was an effect of relaxation music therapy and aromatherapy to violent behavior and schizophrenic client's risk of violent behavior. Suggestion in this study that personnel providing nursing psychiatric nursing techniques of relaxation music and aromatherapy as a cornplernentary therapy that can be given to the c1ient's violent behavior.
