Analisis Faktor Kejadian Reaksi Kusta

Analysis Factor Leprosy Disease. Leprosy reactions has a severe clinical manifestations, although both of the cau ses and the pathogenesis of the leprosy reactions haven't been known yet. According to The national data of leprosy in 2000, reported that 5 % of leprosy patients had an experience of leprosy reactions.The aim of the research was to know the factors which relation to the occurrence of leprosy reaction seen from lesi on factor in face, stress and physical fatigue.This research is the analytic research with the device of cross sectional research. Population in the research is all listed leper either before, dur ing or after medication MDT but still in observation period in Puskesmas Bandar Agung Kabupaten Lampung Tengah year"2012 that is about 40 patients. Sampie represent total of population. Way of data collecting use the questioner and observation sheet (cheek list). Data processing was conducted by analyzing univariat and bivariate with chi Square test. The Result of research indicates that the distribution of frequency of leprosy reaction is about 22,5 %, the patients with lesion in face is about 40 %, patient experience of the stress is about 32,5 %, and patient with physical fatigue is about 42,5 %, . The result of the research indicates th at the factors with relation to the occurrence of leprosy reaction are lesion in face (OR = 8,55; p = 0,018; 95 % CI = 1,48 - 49,35), stress (OR = 6,857; p = 0,038; 95 % CI = 1,35 - 34,70) and physical fatigue (OR = 7,35; P = 0,023; 95 % CI = 1,28 - 41,98). The conclusion of this research is risk factors with relation to the occurence of leprosy reactions are lesion in face, stress and physical fatigue.
