Describe The Nurse Practitioner Job Stress. Nurses in their profession are very prone to stress, while the causes are: interpersonal conflict, management demands, the high demands, lack of knowledge, the physical environment, the background, and the reward at this time wks perceived nurse practitioner in a hospital inpatient Jend. A.Yani Metro, such as work scheduling was too dense or not fair, feel depressed or angry because of the work, submit a mutatidn of the units place of origin to another unit, tht lack of educational training, and inadequate reward system that exists primarily for the nurse practitioner in the room hospitalization. Study was to describe the nurse practitioner job stress in the inpatient hospital Jend. A. Yani Metro in 2012.This study used descriptive design. This study population using the total population of all nurse practitioner who works in Emergency Unit of Hospital. A. Yani Metro. Sampling technique used is the total population of 179 respondents. Analysis of the data used to describe the nurse practitioner job stress in the inpatient hospital Jend, A. Yani Metro with the help of a computer program.This study shows majority of respondents in the inpatient hospital Jend. A.Yani Metro has a high work stress by the high demands that sebanya 73 people (41.5%) and based on the knowledge and skills of as many as 67 people (38.0%). Most respondents have a moderate work stress by the physical environment as many as 78 people (44.3%) and based on the background and status of the work as many as 116 people (65.9%) and based on the reward as many as 108 people (61.4%). Most respondents had low job stress by interpersonal conflicts that as many as 93 people (52.8%), based on the management unit as many as 94 people (53.4%).
