Faktor Risiko Kejadian Malaria Pada Ibu Rumah Tangga
The Risk Factors Associated With Malaria Incidence In Housewife. Malaria is an infectious and deadly disease that is dominant in the tropics and sub-tropics. In Indonesia today malaria is still a problem, averaging an estimated 15 mill ion cases of clinical cases per year. In Lampung province in 2007 AMI (Anual Malaria Incidence) 7.50 per 1000 population, the District Pesawaran AMI at 13.92% per 1000 population and 32% SPR. For the health center itself AMI Hanura 106.3% per 1000.
The purpose of research to know the risk factors associated daengan malaria housewives in the working area of Padang District Health Center Hanura Mirror Pesawaran district. This study used a case-control design. Group of cases is a housewife who expressed clinical malaria and the results of blood preparations found Plasmodium (+), while control is a housewife who was declared free of malaria blood test results are not found Plasmodium preparations (-). The number of samples in this study were 198 respondents, asample of cases and controls by 99 people 99 people, The results of the bivariate analysis of risk factors were: 4 (four) variables related to characteristics of the mother that malaria incidence Mother Education, Employment, Science and the last time delivery, as well as Mother's behavior there are 4 (four) variables associated with the incidence of malaria namely: Mrs. sleeping habits using a mosquito net, a habit of using anti-mosquito lotion, use of anti-mosquito coils and custom wear clothing that covers most of the body ketka out of the house at night. Based on the environmental variables of 5 (five) variable only 1 (one) yan variable associated with the incidence of malaria is mounting pads on home ventilation. Multivariate analysis found that the risk factors associated with the incidence of malaria are: Knowledge (OR = 2.94, 95% CI = 1.37 to 6.30), Kelambu (OR = 2.18,95% CI = 1.41 - 3.39), use Lotion (OR = 1.69,95% CI = 1.02 to 2.79), use of Clothing (OR = 2.27, 95% CI = 1.44 to 3.57), Kassa In ventilation (OR = 4.04,95% CI = 1.32 to 12.34).
