Pengaruh Pemberian Teh Rosella Terhadap Tekanan Darah Lansia Dengan Hipertensi
Effect oi RoselIa Tea Blood Pressure Against Elderly With Hypertension In Children's Social Services Elderly Hypertension was defined as persistent blood pressure where pressure sistoliknya above 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure above 90 mmHg. RoselIa flower used as food by some communities in the world, and also can be used to lower blood pressure.This study used a pure experimental design.
The goal is to know the effect of roselIe tea in elderly with hypertension at the center of Social Services ElderJy "Tresna Werdha", Natar, South Lampung. The sampie in this study all the elderly with primary hypertension (essential) that inhabit some 36 people Social Homes respondents. Testing effect of roselIe tea before and after the intervention by paired-sample T test test. Meanwhile, to examine differences in changes in blood pressure between the two groups using the Independent Sampie T Test.
The results showed the number of respondents were female which is at most 19 people (52.8%), all respondents aged over 60 years and 22 men (61.1%) classified as obese. The results showed a significant difference between systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after intervention in both groups, p = 0,045 Sex, age and BMI did not affect systolic and diastolic blood pressure. This study concluded that the rose lia can significantly reduce systolic and diastolic blood pressure in hypertension patients.
