Hubungan Kadar TGF-β 1 dan IFN-γ dengan Indeks Kronisitas Nefritis Lupus (Relationship TGF-81 and IFN-γ Levels with Lupus Nephritis Chronicity Index)
Although improvements have been made in the therapeutic management of the last two decades, but the prognosis of lupus nephritis remains unsatisfactory. It is therefore necessary to idenitfy a biomarker of disease activity. This study was aimed to measure the role ofTGF-61 and IFN-γ urine as biomarker for chronicity index of lupus nephritis. An observational study was conducted over al-year using urine samples from 25 study subjects to measure correlation between levels of TGF-β1 and IFN-γ levels measured by using ELlSA method and the histopathological chronicity index of lupus nephritis. The data were analyzed using unpaired t test and Pearson correlation. The result show a significant differences between the mean of the cases (Iupus nephritis) (i97,87±96,74) and the control group (non lupus nephritis) (17,82±18) on the measurement levels of IFN-γ urine, while no significant difference (p=0425>a) in TGF-β1 between the case group (34,51±11,17) and the control group (30,27±5,87). A positive and strong correlation were identified between levels of IFN-γurine and urinary TGF-61 (p=0,000, r
