Anesthesia for Laparoscopic Procedures (Anestesi pada Laparoskopi)
Laparoscopic procedures offer several advantages over other surgical procedures among others less pulmonary complications, reduced post-operative pain, and more cosmetically acceptable and reduced the overall operation time. The objective of anaesthesia in laparoscopy is to provide adequate anaesthesia with maximal abdominal relaxation and the other objective is to prevent/reduce the complications associated with gas in laparoscopy. The monitoring is conducted by observing the saturated oxygen, CO2 and pressure and the ECG. A holistic approach is required in managing the patient undergoing a laparoscopic procedure.
