Rancangan Bangun Alat Pembelajaran Pendugaan Air Tanah dengan Metode Geolistrik di Jurusan Kesehatan Lingkungan Purwokerto Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang Tahun 2010
Geoelectic method is one technic for ground water prediction that is frequently used in practice. This research has objective to create learning instrument for ground water prediction by geoelectic method usable to do practical learning for students of environmental Health Department in subject material ground water prediction. This research is done by using experimental method by compose components of geoelectric instrument that is composed of electricinstrument that is composed of electric current resource, current leader, currrent electrode, potential electrode, jointing cable, and multimeter. Ground water prediction trial is done by implant current electrodes in two points A and B in certain distances. Potential differencies are measured by implant two potential electrodes M and N in certain distances, among A and B pints. Apparent resistivity of materials passed by electric current is counted at various current and potential electrode’s placement. The material structure passed by electric current is then analized, and ground water layer in that materials is then predicted. Collecting data is done by data recording of electric current that pass, and potential differencies that create. The data of AB and MN distances, the height of electrict current (1) and potential (V) are proccessed by computer using software of Interpex.IXID versi 3 to find apparent Resistivity. True Resistivity and depth values of every type of soil and water layer. The result of prediction of the depth of material containing ground water is then compared with the depth ground water surface in dug well surround the trial location. The rosult of this research shows that goelectric instrument producted by this bulding design, that is composed of the principal and the supporting with cable of two times 60 meters for AB distances, is capable to predict the type of soil layers and water until the depth of 100 meters. The trial of using of the instrument in the field of the village of Kutasari, Sub District of Barurraden, District of Bayumas on the of 11 Desember 2010 resulting data of the depth of the soil bearing water layers at the trial location within 3,5-6,0 meter from the surface soil, and this data is suitable with the real condition of the dug well water depth surround the trial location that is within 3,5-4,5 meter from the surface soil in rainy season. The researcher concludes that the goelectric instrument producted by this research is valid enough, although is recomended to be retried in the different location to check the validity.
