Deteksi Dini Faktor Risiko Penyakit Jantung dan Pembuluh Darah di Kabupaten Biraun, Propinsi Aceh

One of main acitities in controlling cardiovascular diseases is earty detection of active conduct of its risk factor in the community. Through the early detection of risk factors can be expected to handie as early as possible, so that the prevalence of risk factors for heart disease and blood vessels can be derived as optimal as possible. The Objectives of this activity is to define the prevalence of risk factors of cardiovascular diseases in the community. This survey adopted observational study design. It was conducted in Bireun District. Aceh province. There were 315 respondents involved in the study. Several measurements were carried out including blood pressure, weight, height, blood lipid and ECG. The instrument of questionare was used to gain anmnesa of behaviour factors. It found that the percentage of respondent with family history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension and stroke is tend to high. The prevalence of daily smoking prevalence is higher than the provincial and national levels. Some risk factors of cardiovascular disease showed an increase that need to take into account.
