Analgetik Activity Test of Various Doses Formula KKKS Extract Mixture in Male Mice
An Indonesia natural medicine capsule (jamu KKKS) containing Curcuma Domesticae Rhizoma Extract 45 mg. Marray Paniculata Folium Extract 72 mg, Acalypha indica Herba Extract 365 mg and Pepempria Pellucida Herba Extract 18 mg, on curativ dose twice two capsules daily, has been used as a traditional relieving pain (analgesic) on acute gouty attack, but the so far researches performed on the pharmacological mechanism were lacking. This present research has been done to determine the effect of KKS capsul on relieving pain of male mice previously induced by asetic. Male mice were induced by asetic acid and then were separeted into five group. Three group were given 6,5 mg/kgBW, 130 mg/kgBW and 260 mg/kgBW suspension of KKS capsule, a group was given solvent (tragakan 0,5%suspension) as normal control, and another group was given piroksikam 2,6 mg/kg BW as positive control. The result of this present research shown that KKKS capsules has proved to relieve pain previously induced by asetic acid (analgetic effect) at dose of 65 mg/kg BW (14,5%), 130 mg/kg BW (-2.1%) and 260 mg/kg BW (-0.2%. Piroksikam at dose 2,6 mg/kg BW has shown analgetic effect 72.3%.
