Efulis Fissuratum Case Management on Loose Complete Denture Patients (Case Report)

User of a complete denture patient long enough, in general, he could receive a state his dentures although loose and unstable if it is used. The conditions over time may cause ulceration in the mucosa and unstable it it is used. The conditions over time may cause ulceration in the mucosa, and there is continous pressure can cause the formation of a disorder called epulis fissuratum. In this case report, to discuss the hending of cases of epulis fissuratum in patients with complete denture userd. The patient, 65 years old male came to the dental clinic to repair his dentures, but on examination of the oral cavity there are abnormalities in the form of epulis fissuratum, whereas the old dentures were loose and not fit anymore. Patients have used since the old denture 10 years ago and did not feel any complaints. Epulis treatment was performed under no-surgical way, because besides his apulis still small, patients also have a history of high blood pressure so that the counter indication for surgery. Nursing is a tissue conditioned material placement and so that does not happen recurrence, then the new denture made good. The result is an epulis fissuratum shrinking and new complete denture is quite good, fit and the patients were satisfied and comforrtable to use.
