Studi Deskriptif Pengkajian pada Lansia Berdasarkan Pola Kesehatan Funsional Gordon di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pembantu Binong Curug Tangerang Tahun 2009
Currently, the number of elderly population in the area served by Binong Community Health Center is 1214 people out of 53.513 in habitants or 2.27%. In Curug Tengerang Community Health Center which provides support for Binong Community Health Center, on assessment was conducted on nutrition-metabolic status (nutrition status) and daily activity (independence level), therefore it can be concluded that there is insufficient assessment of functional health pattern in the service area of Curug Tangerang Community Health Center. The research is to describe the assessment of health pattern on the elderly population using Gordon functional health pattern in the service area of Curug Tangerang Community Health Center year 2009. This research is a quantitative research using cross-sectional descriptive design. The sample size of this research is 100, obtained by purposive sampling technique and tested for validity and relability using (Crombach’s Alpha 0.9). The result of the research was analyzed using SPSS 16 with descriptive statistics analysis. Generally, this research supports that the elderly living in the area of Binong Community Health Center have good functional health paterns. There is a descrepancy in the pattern of Health Perception and Health management in that they reported thathealth is important but do not take action to suport their health. In their daily lives, most elderly do not attend Posbindu, do not make healthy lifestyle choices, and only use the health center for health complains. The elderly in Binong are still able to fulfill their functional health pattern. The functional health pattern with the lowest values is management-perception pattern. The result shows that even throught the elderly in Binong are able to fulfill most the functional health patterns that even thought the elderly in Binong are able to fulfill most of the functional health patterns, they have poor health management, therefore it is important to give close attention to their health
