The Student's Response to the Lecturer'S Performance in Area of the Health Polychinic of Kemenkes Denpasar in 2010

The improvement of education services especialy in health field more increase become the public’s attention that it is led to intense competition that it is led to intense compettion in the quality of education services.The health polytechnic of Denpasar is one of some college in the health filed that exist under the ministry of health and have status of public. The health polytechnic of Denpasar still have to pay attention to equality carried and a research to know how does the student’s respond to the lecturer’s performance so that it can be used as reference to make improvements to the institution. This research was a descriptive research with main objective to create an overview about a condition objactively. The populaton in this research were the students in second and fourth semester in academic year of 2009/2010 with number of sample equal to 213 people. The collection of data were by distributing questionnaires to 5 Likert scale to the sample. Data of student’s response to the lecturee’s performance was processed by looking for the mean score of each question and calculate the grand mean by the may sum average score each item divided by the number of items. The results shows that the lecturer’s performance in the nursing major was sufficient category with percetange 71,25%, the lecurer’s performance in midwifery major was sufficient category with percetage of 77,38%; the lecturer’s performance in the nutrition major was sufficient category with percentage 72,03%; and the lecturer’s performance in the sanitation major was suffient with percentage of 75.56%. The leaders party should be more motivate the lecturer in the field of health polytechnic Denpasar to more improve its performance by conducts supervision, improve facillities
