Universal percaution are dsigned to reduce the risk of transmission of microorganisms in health care facillities. The purpose of thie study was determine the factors to efffect the application of universal precautions in private practice midwives. The design was analytic observational study approach to cross sectional. Spearman rank analysis result significan relationship between knowledge of midwives (Rs=0509, p=0,006), the status of midwives (Rs=0445, p=0,018) and long working midwife (Rs+0449; p=0.007) with the application of universal precaution.
