HUBUNGAN APRI(AST-PLATELET RATIO INDEX)TERHADAPDERAJAT FIBROSIS PASIEN PENYAKIT HATI KRONIS

Liver disease had been become an interesting health problem in the world.In many developed country,chronic liver diseasesbecame the 3rd major causes of death in
45–46 years old patients.Fibrosis had become a primary sign of histological changes
in people with chronic liver diseases. Stages of fibrosis were assigned based on fixed diagnostic of the liver biopsy. In patients with chronic liver disease
, celldamage were occurred and followed by the release of liver enzymatic i.e. AST
. The aim of this study was to determine the association between APRI (AST and Platelet Ratio Index) in patients with chronic liver disease at Margono Soekarjo Public Hospital Purwokerto period June until December 2009. An analytic observational study had been conducted with cross sectional approach.Ten patients
of chronic liver disease who completed inclusion and exclusion criteria and only
seven patients can be assessed stage of fibrosis.Statistical analysis was done by Spearman test. The p result was >0,05 andthere was weak positive correlation (r=0,144
)between APRI and fibrosis level. From this research, we can conclude that there was
no association betwen APRI and stage of fibrosis.in chronic liver diseases patients.
