EFEK PEMBERIAN EKSTRAK TEMPE KEDELAI (GLYCINE MAX) TERHADAP EKSPRESI CASPASE- 3 MENCIT GALUR C3H MODEL KARSINOGENESIS PAYUDARA
Carcinogenesis process was a ffected by decrease in apoptotic activities marked by low Caspase- 3 expression. Soybean (Glycine max) tempe is a widely consumed permented food. Isoflavon content of tempe showed proapoptotic effect on cancer. The aim of this study is to know the effect of soybean tempe extract on Caspase -3 expression of C3H mice (Musmusculus) breast carcinogenesis model. This experimental study used post-test only control group design. Twenty-four C3H mice were inoculated with tumor and divided into four groups: 1 control group and three groups dministered by soybean tempe extract dose 12 mg/20gBW/day, 24 mg/20gBW/day, and 48
mg/20gBW/day for two weeks, stained by caspase-3immunohistochemistry and evaluated by
Allred score. Statistical analysis Kruskal-Wallis continued by Post hoc analysis Mann
- Whitney test used SPSS ver.15. Analysis result showed significant increase of casp
ase -3 expression (p=0,046) with difference between control group and group 1 (p=0,009), control and group 2 (p=0,361), control and group 3(p=0,834), group 1 and group 2 (p=0,834), group 1 and group 3 (p=0,203),and group 2 and 3 (p=0,199). From the result we can conclude that soybean tempe extract administration increase Caspase-3 expression with minimal effective dose 12 mg/KgBW/day
