Aktivitas Antibakteri Ekstrak Etanol Kayu Nangka (Artocarpus heterophylla Lmk), terhadap Bacillus subtillis dan Escherichio coli
Research on antibacterial activity of jockfruit wood (A heterophylla Lmk) ethanolic extract to B, subtilis and E coli in vitro have been done, jackfruit woor ethanolic extraction was done with maceration method using ethonolic solvent 70%. Antibacterial activity test used agar diffution method. There were tesred 5 groups of serial extract concentration 1%, 10% and 100%; positive control (tetracyclineHCI) and solvent control/negative control Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO 10%). The result showed that ethanolic extract of jackfruit wood didn’t have antibacterial activity until the highest concentration. Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) test showed that ethanolic exttract of jackfruit wood contaian flavonoid and alkoloid.
