Peran Jumantik Kota Denpasar untuk Meningkatkan Partisipasi Masyarakat pada PSN DBD

Various efforts have been programmed by the government of Denpasar to reduce cases of dengue, one with established and appointed jumantik officials. Jumantik main tasks is to monitor the lervae and increasing community participation in the eradiaction of mosquitoes nest. The purpose of this research is to review the role of jumantik to increase Denpasar community participation on PSN DBD. Qualitative research design and rapid assessment procedures (RAP) were used in this study. Informants (total = 40) become from jumantik (16), Health officials (6) and community leaders are Klian Banjjar / head of village (18). Data analysis are ongoing analysis and final data analysis using theme analysis. Knowledge jumantik Denpasar, about dengue is sufficient, since have recieved training by health officials. Jumantik feel that task not day monitor dengue fever mosquito but also prevention counseling. The main motivation to become jumantik is the desire to serve the community, employment opportunities by earing a reasonable wage. To increase the participation of Society in PSN DBD, jumantik has conducted individual counseling. Along with monitoring larvae. Beside monitoring the larva, jumantik has conducted individual counseling on its citizens, to increase community participation on PSN DBD.
