Mekanisme Resistens Kortikosteroid Pada Asma
Asthmatic patients have a specific patterm of airway inflamation that underlies the clinical features. Corticosteroids known to be useful for controling asthma and have a mojor effect in reducting inflammation of the airway well, suppress the expression of various genes in the airway inflamation and repair the bronhial hyperresponsiveness. However, a few asthmatic patients show a poor or absent response even to high doses of corticosteroid Knowing the mechanisms of carticosteroids resistence in asthma may lead to provide a better understanding on the management of corticosteroid resistant asthma. Molecular mechanisme of corticosteroid resistance include abnormalities in ligand binding and transiocation of the nucleus, decreased expression and or co-respressor protein activity or increased expression of inflammatory transciption factors
