Prevelence Asma Berdasarkan Kuestioner ISAAC dan Pengobatan Asma pada Siswa SLTP di Kabupaten Seribu Tahun 2008.

Prevalence of asthama is still rising in developed countries including Indonesian. Asthma is one of the most important diseases in childhood, causing substansial morbidity. This study using the ISAAC ( International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood) questionnaire to determine asthma prevalence in Junior High School Student especially 13-14 years old asthma medication patient among student in Seribu Island. The ISAAC questionnaire were distributed to all Junior High School in Seribu Island and total Subject 725 to answer the ISAAC questionnaire and additional questionnaire about asthma medication pattern. Self administrated were applied. Seven hundred and twenty five subject age 13-14 years old were enrolled in the study. The prevalence of asthama was 5.70% and among of student were get medication when they had asthatic attack, found that 27.27% studentgot their medicine from free store, 18.18% student went to olderly clinic/nurse/midlife, 15.16% student went to general practioner and the most of student wich was 39,39% student went to public health center. Junior High School student has already known about inhalation treatment for asthma medication routinaly (controller). The prevalens of asthma was 6.76% and there was significant relation between asthma and atopy.
