Proporsi asma terkontrol di klinik asma RS Persahabatan Jakarta 2009
Due to the increased of drug development, medical services and comunity awareness to asthma disease, considered asthma patient would pay more attention to control their asthma status. asthma control test is one of the tools to measure asthma controlled level. this study performed to the population of asthmatic patient in asthma clinic Persahabatan Hospital Jakarta May-July 2009. Methods : The ACT questionnaire were distributed to asthmatic patient in asthma clinic Persahabatan Hospital Jakarta, using cross sectional method. Result : From 344 subjects with age range from 13-86 years old (mean 49.5), consist of 238 (69.2%) female. Patient with ACT score 20-24 (asthma well controlled status) found in 114 (33,1%) subject, only one patient achieved full controlled asthma (ACT score 25), while the rest (66.9%) has ACT score < 19 (uncontrolled asthma). Among MDI (Metered Dose Inhaled) users, incorrect MDI use found in 241 (81.42%) subject. lack of asthma knowledge found in 66 (19.2%) subject. there was significant relationship between well controlled asthma patient to drug-dose appropriateness (p< 0,001), correct use of MDI (p
