Diagnostic Value of quantitative Rapid Test Cardiac Troponin 1 in Acute Myocardial infarction patients
Cardiac troponin 1 (cTnl) is the most sensitive and specific biochemical merkers for myocardiac damage but its diagnostic value a high variability. Its is necessary to determine diagnostic value for a new kit of cTnl. The aim of our study is to evaluate the diagnostic value of quantitative rapid (acute Myocardial infrarction) patients compared with NON AMI patients as control. The level of cTnl was measured by Quantitative Rapid Test Tropnin 1 and continued with determining the diagnostic value of cTnl at verious cut off. From February – December 2007 we obeserve 67 patients AMI and 56 patient NON AMI. The diagnostic value {sensitivity, spectivity, positive value (PPV) and negative pre dictive value (NPV) of Quantitave Rapid Test troponin 1 with cut off value 1.0 ng/ml (recommended in the manufacture’s package), is respectively 91.0%, 91.1%, 92.4%, and 89.5%, with area under curve 0.911. The diagnostic value of Quantitative Rapid Test cTnl then determined in various cut off value (0.8;, 1.0.1.2.1.5., and 2.0 mg/ml) we find that the area under curve of quantitative Rapid Test cTnl in these various cut off value respectively 0.926, 0.915, 0.902, and 0.849. The sensitivity respectively 94.0% 91.0%, 86.6%, 82.1% and 71.6% and the specificity 91.1%, 91.1%, 96.4%, 96.4%, 98.2% and 98.2% and 98.2%. The Troponin 1 Qantitative rapid test was sensitive and specific to diagnose acute myocardial infarcion with the best area under curve 0.926 in off 0.8 ng/ml
