Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat serta Kondisi Sanitasi Lingkungan di Kecamatan Teluk Naga dan Kosambi, Tangerang, Banten

Study on development model to control of the diseases in relation the environment have conduct at Teluk Naga and Kosambi district, Tangerang regent’s Banten Province. The population is the whole household and analysis unit is the head of household. The number of sample each district 250 houshold, therefore the total sample is 500 responden. The data was collected consist the physic, biology, invironment condition and social and culture aspect. In the paper, discussion stressed especially clean and healthty behavior. The data was collected by interview using questionnaire and observation to the environment condition that related with healthty behavior.

Resulth of the study shows that not the whole household own the clean water facility to fulfil of the need for drink, shower and wash, then only 43.1% which has own that facility. Abouth 56.9% using the source of water which is not protected, ever private or public belonging. The household that is drink boiled water in Teluk Naga district is 99.4% and in Kosambi district 94.9%. Brushing teeth is becoming the community habit in that two district which has become the research area, 87.8% responden in Teluk Naga and Kosambi district brush teeth twice in everiday. And also the responden which wash hand before eating in Teluk Naga is 97.5% and in Kosambi 98.7%, meanwhile after pup wash hand in Teluk Naga is 87.2% and in Kosambi is 97.5%. Than household that put their garbage in the place should be (in the garbage basket) in Teluk Naga is 47.5% and in Kosambi is 70.2%. There still many the population that has smoking, in Teluk Naga is 72.5% and in Kosambi 74.2%. In preventive efforts of disease with transmited by mosquito. There is 73.4% in Teluk Naga and 87.2% in Kosambi that is hang the clothes in the room. The community that is done the Combat of The Breeding Place with put the unuseful thing in the soil in Teluk Naga is 25.7% and in Kosambi 44.2%. The other ways that has been done by the responden are using musquito’s burn medicine, mosquito spray medicine, net in sleeping bed, repellent, clear the container eventhough its percentage is relatively smal
