Kualitas Image dan Dosis Radiasi Pemeriksaan Computed Tomography (CT Scan) Basis Cran II pada Perubahan PITCH
In the clinical application of CT scan Base Cranii often chosen with varying pithch, it is tailored to the pathological anormalitas that should be checked. Based on existing observation studies, changes in pitch will affoct the mage quality produced. So that required areview in detail the influence of pitch settings on image quality. Pitch also will determine the movement of the table, so that will affect also the time of scanning, so we need study the influence of pitch settings on the dose of radiation received by pasien. The purpose this research to provide treatmnet protocol recommended in the preparation of the CT scan Base Craniii parcicular pitch setting on the quality and The resulting radiation dose. This was an experimental quantitative research. The independent variable is the pitch, the dependent variable image quality and radiation dose, while the control variables include the phaniom head, ROV, slice thicknes and eksposi factor. Research conducted at the hospital. Sultan Agung Semarang by scanning the phantom head with a pitch change of 0.5, 1.0,15,20, 2.5 and 3 with the parameters of the scanning slice thickness 2 mm, image nterval kV: 120 mA; 160, the selected algorithm standard. Data analysis done using descriptive statistics in the form of graphs and linear regression equation. The results of this study showed no significant influence on changes in pithch to the quality of image in image quality of CT Sacn Bacis Cranii with R₂ value of 0.021. Effect of Changes in pitch to the radiation dose received by having a strong influence with R2 value of 0.771 where the higer the pitch of the resulting radiation dose is set lower, so that Ha influence of pitch on the dose of radiation received and Ho ditolak. For get the image quality of CT Scan bacis cranii optimal settings recommended pitch is 200 since it produces the smallest noise image, by adjusting the pitch 2.0 with image noise generated value is 201.50. By selecting the smallest noise image after the pitch is 1.0, while pitch arrangement resulted in lower radiation dose 36.8mGy of reference established by the BSS is 50mGy.
