The Correlation Level of Knowledge on Patients Hypertension About Trinciple Management of Hypertension With Practice of Preventing Complication At Kudus Public Hospital
Knowledge is an essential factor in the formation of action anyone. It is estimated influence practice of preventing complication among at Kudus Public Hospital. The purpose of this study is to identify correlation level of knowledge patient’s hypertension about principle management of hypertension with practice of preventing complication. This study is a correlation studies using, Cross Sectional design. Sample used is total sampling from of 32 respondents, the data collection is using questioner about level of knowledge and practice patient’s hypertension. The result showed that majority of respondentwere the aged of 41-60 years old (56,3%), 59,4% men sex, 56,2% graduated from elementary school and junior high school, 56,2% as a laborer/private / entreprenneur, 46,9% were suffer of hypertension 1-3 years and 56,3% respondent were get the information about hypertension from electronic and print media. The result of 32 respondent identified that majority of respondent have goog knowledge and positive practice on about 40.6%, 9,4% respondent have small knowledge and negative practice. With Chi Square experiment known p value = 0,02 (p>0.05). It means there is significant correlation between level of knowledge patien’s hypertension about principle management of hypertension with practice preventing complication.
