Analisa Penerimaan Dosis Radiasi Organ-Organ Sensitif pada Pemeriksaan dan Panoramik
Panoramic is an investigation to see any anomaly in the teeth and the jaw upwards or downwards. Technical Eksposi used in research time long enough to give exposure to the radiation received by even more patients. Around the teeth and lower jaw teeth are the organs tat are sinsitive to radiation that is the thyroid, eye lens and spinal cord. This study is an observational analysis ot research on organ dose form of acceptance that are sensitive to radiation, which is located in the vicinity of the object in the panoramic examination. This research was conducted in a laboratory unit of Radiodiagnostic and Radiotherapy Technique Health Polytechnic of Semarang by using phantom exposed in a panoramic examination with and without the use of protective radiation on internal organs, cervical thyroid and eyes. Data were collected by measuring the dose in senditive organs using surveimeter then analyzed descriptively and compared with dose reference level set. The results showed that the rediation doses received in the thyroid, cervical organs and eyes by using radiation shields during inspection significantly reduced the ratio copared with panoramic examination without the use of radiation protectors. Use of thyroid protector on panoramic examination with a factors of 80 kV eksposi can reduce the dose to the (spinal cord) of the cervix with 11 times and reduced thyroid dose by 25.7 times compared with not using protective eyewear protective. Using goggle on panoramic examination with eksposi factor of 80 kV to reduce the dose to the eye 3 times than not wearing geogle. Radiation dose values obtained on both panoramic examination with and without protective demonstrate within safe limits below the reference dose level determined in the 115 BSS-1994 1 and has paured in Bapeten Head Decree No. 01-p/Ka-Bapeten/ 1-03 Patient Dose Radiodiagnostic Guidelines. However, the use of radiation protective equipment during panoramic examination is recommended to prevent the effects of non-stochastic dose and limit the possibility of stocastic effects on the sensitive organs of the body.
