Paranasal Sinus Meningioma : Case Series

Meningiomas accounts for 10-15% of all intracranial tumors, but meningiomas originating in the paranasal sinuses are rare. These tumors are thought to arise from embryonal arachnoid nests which were pinched off and left behind during embryonic development. We present three cases, 10 and 50 years old female and 7 years old male with praranasal sinus meningioma . Meningioma in this lacation neds special approach for surgical excison. We perform surgical excision in both cases and in one cases we joint operation with otolaryngologist. All three cases have good outocome after surgery. We will discuss about the pathophysiology and surgical approach for meningioma in location
