Perbedaan Diagnosis Malaria dengan Metode Imunokromatograpfi dan Metode Mikroskopi pada Mass Blood Survey (MBS)

Different Diagnosis Malaria. Based on data from the health Research asssociation in 2007by the Agency for Health Research and development Health Department Republicc of Indonesia that the prevalence of malaria in the province of Lampung: 1.42% which isthe first order of prevalence of malaria infection. One of the problem of Malaria elmination efforts in Way Kanan District encuunred is the difficulty to diagnose quiqkly and accurately. Interest to obatain a rapid diagnosis in patient suspected of having malaria is a challenge to get the test or laboratory method is precise, rapid sensitive, easy, and economical. The low quality of the microscope and reagents and lack of trained labor inspectors, causing difficulties in examining the microscopic malaria parasites that have been the gold standard laboratory examination of malaria. The purpose of this study was to analyze the diagnosis of malaria with imunokromatografi methods and microscopic methods in Mass Blood Survey (MBS) in Way Kanan Regency in 2010 The study was conducted in the 3 (three) Villages are Kampung Gunung Baru, Kampung Bengkulu Regional Health Center New Territory of Labuan and the village of way Kanan Regency health Center Kasui, From October to December 2010, a total of 100 samples and fingertip blood taken for the preparation of thick blood preparations and falciparum malaria rapid test. The data obatained were then tested using a statistical test Chi Square. The study design is an experiment that is to determine the incidence of malaria in the Way Kanan byu using two different methods. In this study, the results of the incidence of malaria and the use of two methods imunokromatografi and microscopic methods were observed at the same time. The results show p. Value (p=0.0005), that is no significant difference between the prositive test results with negative or in other words by the method of microscopic examination of malaria and the methods imunokromatografi the Mass Blood Survey (MBS) give the same result (accurately) in the District Right Way.
