Faktor-faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Pemberian MP-ASI Dini pada Bayi

Determine the Factors accociated with the provision of MP-ASI early for iNfants One of the causes of cartilage nutrition in infants caused by breast milk (ASI) replaced many of complementary feeding (MP-ASI) with the amount and maner that does not fit the need, especially in infants younger than 6 months. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the provision of MP-ASI premature infants. This cross sectional research design with quantitative approach. The population was mothers who had infants aged 6-12 months in the district Sumberejo. The number of samples in this study as many as 100 people and the election of a systematic candom sample (sytematic random sampling). Data is collected in September 2011. Statistical analysis used was univariate, bivariate with chiqueare and to see the most dominant factor used logistic regression test. The study found the porpotion of MP- ASI early by 33%. The results obtained multivariate analysis of factor associated with the provision of MP-Asi premature infants a family support (p value = 0.14) and socio cultur (p value = 0.033). The most dominant factor is the factor related to the value of family support OR 1.621 after controling maternal education, maternal nutrition knowledge and attitude of the mother. Mother who are in an environment of good family support (not support MP-ASI) has a tehdency of 1.6 times greater for MP Asi did not give their babies early. Efforts to reduce the provision of MP-ASI early by improving family support by conducting health promotion regarding the provinsion of MP-ASI is right for the provision of information, education /education and motivation for the administration of MP-ASI is right and true. Give a correct understanding if there are babies prevaling in the community that supports the early provision of –ASI.
