Gambaran Kondisi Sputum dan Kualitas Sediaan BTA dalam Menegakkan Diagnosa Penyakit TB-Paru

In Improving the diagnostic acuracy of pulmonary TB in microscopic diagnoses the need for uniformity and accuracy of test results. Until now PRM clinic (referral center microscopic) has worked as a vanguard for examination preparation (slide) smear, without ever doing surveillance of the quality and uniformity of the quality of the results of the exmination prreparate sputum (phlegm)-pulmonary TB patients, except by way of test cross (cross check) to the higher laboratory such as Central Health Laboratory (BLK province) (M Girsang 2002). This study aims to find out the frequency distri bution and the difference in reading is a microscopic smear preparations, compared to the results of microscopic referral centers, from the description of the condition and quality of sputum smear preparations in diagnosing pulmonary TB disease examined at the health center city of Bandar Lampung in 2011. This study was conducted in July to August 2011. The design of this study is descriptive look at the picture and the difference in the reading clinic PRM results. Conclusion This study examined 330 sputum amount, number of sputuk with the (+) smear 10.9% (36 sputum). Condition goog criterion of the sputum (+) smear 91.1%) (33 sputum) , quality of preparation by both criteria of the (+) smear 91.1% (33 stocks). There is a difference in readings in the microscopic smear preparations, compared to the results of the 12 reference centers microscopic (PRM) based on the quality of smear preparation of 0.32%, and the difference in determining the level of positivity (gradation) of 5.55%.
