Study Diagnostik Pap Smear for Early Detection Cancer Cervic. The purpose of this study to find out sensitivity and specificity of pap smear. The study was conducted using cross sectional analytic method with the source data obtained from the medical records. Laboratory of Anatomical Pathology Regional General Hospital Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province in 2010. Based on research conducted at the regional General Hospital Dr. H Abdul Moeloek found 39 cases performed pap smears and biopsies. The incidence of precancerous cervical lesions in patients aged dominan fourth decade then obtained a pap smear sensitivity and specificity of 87.5% and 86.7%. False negative result obtained by the process of making preparations as well as erors of interpretation
