The Capability of The Non-Formal Health Service Providers To Provide Abditional Support To TB Care. Tuberculosis (TB) is an important health problem in Indonesia. In Lampung province case detection rate (CDR) of TB is still low, i.e. 40.6% in 2007. Low CDR may be due to low capacity of the health services to identity.TB suspects. The objective of this research is to describe the capability of the non-formal health service providers to provide additon support to TB care. An explorative study will be conducted in Tanjung Bintang subdistrict. Data collection will conducted by interview with structured questionnaires to 54 non formal health services provider. Data would be analyzed using SPSS 17. The knowledge of non formal health services provider were still low (85.2%) and most of them would be involved in TB program B. The research results can contribute to the decision making of the Health Department in Lampung Province to determine the role of the non formal health service providers in supporting TB care.
