The Factors Associated with Long Confluement. Cases of long confinement is the order of the threetargest in 2099. Indidence of long confinement caused by various factors of fetal factors and maternal factors. Research objective determine the factors associated with long confinement which include premature of membranes factors, parity and maternal age. The research method used is analytical with cross design secsional. The study population was all mothers in the public hospital maternity in Demam Sepulau Raya amounted to 599 with a sample size of 240 used systematic random sampling technique How to measure that is used with a measuring instrument in the from of docementation and checklist sheets that were analyzed in univariate from of the distribution and percentages, while the bivariate analysis using chi square test. The results obtained with the proportion of maternal parturition long by 47 people (19.58%), the incidence of premature rupure of membranes as many as 22 people (9.17%), maternal parity group most at risk of 109 pepole (45.42%), and age groups most at risk of 57 people (23.75%).
