Pengetahuan Wanita Pekerja Seks tentang HIV/AIDS dan Minat untuk Mengikuti VCT

This research was aimed to find out the relationship between prostitutes knowledge about HIV/AIDS with their iterest to join voluntary counselling and testing (VCT) in ex localization of Semampir Village. Kediri. The design of this research was using cross sectional design. Research sample was 142 prostitutes who worked in ex localization of Semampir Village, Kediri Sampling technique used was simple random sampling techique. Measurement used was closed questionnaire. Data analysis was using Sperman test. The result showed that 57.04% of prostitutes had good knowledge about HIV/AIDS, and 89.43% of Prostitutes were interested in joining VCT. From data analysis, we concluded that there was a relationship between prostitutes knowledge about HIV AIDS and their interest to join VCT.
