Efektivitas dan Efisiensi Sistem Informasi Keluarga Berencana di Puskesmas (The Effectiveness and Efficiency of Family Planning Information System in The Health Center)

A study is to know the efficiency and effectiveness of the new family planninginformation system that has been socialized since 2007. To comparewith the previous information system, this study was conducted in fourprovinces i.e., DKI Jakarta, Lampung, Central Kalimatan, and Bali. In eachprovince two districts were randomly selected, and from each selected districttwo health centers were then randomly selected. Data was collectedfrom June to September 2008. Results of this study revealed that the effectivenessand efficiency of the new family planning information system isconsidered good, where 77,8% of the respondents reported it as effectiveor more effective, and 66,7% stated more or much more efficient comparedto the previous system.
