Pengalaman Tiga Bulan Pertama Usia Lanjut Tinggal di Panti Werda: Studi Penomenologi

Abstract:
This research proposes is to obtain first three months experience of elderly live in panti werda. This research use qualitative research method with descriptive phenomenology methodology toward eight participants in UPT PSLU Wlingi Blitar. Data gathering method is deep interview and use field notes, with analysis method of Colaizzi’s Phenomenology (1978). Research result: researcher could identify four themes that are: reason to live in panti werda, feeling when live in panti werda, problems that felt in panti werda, and meaning for self. This research result is an important issue that could be identified and become an input for nurse, institution employee, institution dministrator to conduct orientation program, intervention of appropriate primary and secondary prevention to de-crease disadvantage impact of elderly transition period to panti werda. This research needs to devel- oped so that give benefit in developing community nursing care model on elderly aggregate especially in panti Werda.
