Efek Hipoalgesik Tens pada Nyeri Persalinan Kala I Fase Aktif

One method to reduce labour pain in many countries is transcutaneous electrical nerve
stimulation (TENS). This study aimed to determine the effect hipoalgesic of TENS on the partu-rient first
stage. The design used was pre-experimental study, one group pretest and post test, on 10 parturient in
first stage at BPS Sukemi, BPS Susi Herawati, BPS Yayuk Broto Malang, as selected by purposive
sampling. Measurement of variables using visual analogue scale (VAS). The result of Wilcoxon Signed
Ranks Test showed that differences in pain intensity before and after used TENS. Conclusion of this
study is that there an effective reduction of labor pain after electrical stimuli TENS
