Hubungan Pengetahuan Ibu Mengenai Metode Amenorealaktasi dengan Sikap Ibu Tentang ASI Eksklusif

The development of human resource is a important part of National development, especially increasing the quality of life. The increasing of life quality could be done by Family Planning Program. This is an effori to against the bombnewborn baby and make a distance in pregnancy by at contraception. Amenore Lactation Method or in Indonesian MAL (metode Amenore Laktasi) is one of contraception method that was so effective to against pregnancy and really simple because only need to give an exclusive breastfeeding MAL in against pregnancy get 98%, but there are not so many mother that do breastfeeding motice about this fact (Saiffudin, 2006), and data in 2004 there is only 0,1%. This study aim is to find out the correlation between mother’s knowledge about MAL and attitude of mother in exclusive breastfeeding. This an analytic research with cross sectional study using 43 samples that taken by consecutive sampling. Statistic test analyze is using KendallTau correlation. This study found that 25.58% mother have less information about MAL, and 97% said agree to exclusive breastfeeding. Kendall Tau coeffient 0.001, then has been done lest to ensure the significant by z abbreviation so error level can be 0.5%. Price of z count is 0.1 then z table is 2.58 (z count < z table). That means that there is no correlation between mother’s knowledge about MAL with attitude of mother in exclusive breastfeeding.
