Evaluasi Stabilitas Fisik Mikroemulsi Natrium Askorbil Fosfat Berbasis Minyak Kelapa Murni (Virgin coconut oil) {Physical Stability Evaluation of Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate Microemulsion with Virgin coconut oil as the Vehicle}
Sodiumascobyl phosphate is a hydrophilic derivate of asorbic acid, which has chemically more stable. As an antioxidant it can scavengeand destory aggressive oxidizing agents and free radicals that are improtantly involved in the skin aging process. Microemulsion is carrier systems for topical delivery of sodium ascophate. An experiment has been conducted with virgin coconut oil (VCO) as an oil phase. Tween 80 and sorbitol (2.1) with variety of concentration (45%, 50%,55%,80%) as surfactant-consurfactant components. The result indicated that VCO can be formulated into s stable microemulsion. The high quality of microemulsion dosage from are the F3 (55) having the appearance of the lucid, translucent, perticle droplet 15,1 nm and surface tension 42.200 dyne/cm.
