Uji Aktivitas Antibakteri Ekstrak Etanol 70% dan n- Heksan Jamur Shitake (Lentinula edodes (Berk) Pegler) terhadap Escherichia dan Staphylococcus aureus {Antibacteri Activity Test of 70% Ethanol and n-Hexane Extract of Shitake Fungi (Lantinula edodes (Berk) Pegler) on Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus Aureus}
Shiitake (Lentinula edodes (Bark) Pegler) is one of the wood mushroom that have a broad benefit. Besides Aiready known as a delicious food, shiiitake fungi can also act as a drug, such as antibacterial, antiviral, anti platelet agggulutination an cholesterol-lowering compound. The research was conducted to test the antibacterial activity of 70% athanol and n-hexane extract from Shitake fungus (Lantinula edodes (Berk) Pegler) against Escherinchia coli ATCC 25922 and stapylococcus aureus ATCCC 25923. The method used in this study is the difusion method using a glass cylinder. The concentration used for each extract is 2500, 5000, 7500, 10000 and 12500 g/ml. And chloramphenicol with concentrations of 1,3,5,7 and 9 ug/mL as control. Results showed that 70% ethanol extract and n-hexana extract of Shiitake fungus inhibit the growth of Escheichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The 70% ethanol extracts agains E. Coli ATCC 25922 has a relative potency value of 2,6x10³ times and chloramphenicol against S, aureus ATCC 25923 is 2,04x10³ times chloraphenicol, N hexane extract to test against E. Coli ATCC 25922 has a relative potency value of 8,95x10ʵ times and chloraphenicol against S. Aureus ATCC 25923 is 2.96x 10ʵ times chloraphenicol. The conclusion is 70% ethanol extract has a stronger antibacterial activity n-hexane extract.
