Daun Pare (Momordica charantia L.) sebagai Penyubur Rambut (Bitter Melon Leaves (Momordica charantia L.) for Stimulator Hair Grwoth)

Bitter melon leaves (Momordica charantia L) was used for treatment fertilizer hair. This study aims at determination of effect of bitter malon leaves extract for excitation hair growth in male rabbits. The method used in this study was the Tanaka method which has been modified by Sarasih. The back of rabibits divided into 7 plots each measuring 2x2 cm. One plots treated with Minoxidil 2% (Regrou (R) as a positive control, 2rd plot treated with disilled water as normal controls, plots 3th, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th were treated with the extract at doses of 0,625%, 1,25%, 5%, and 10% subsequently. The measurement of hair growth every 3 days, startin on the 3rd till the 15th day. Flesult showed that the extract can promote hair growing in male rabbits aspecially at 10% concentration of the extract. The 10% concentration more effective than the positive control
