Kualitas Hidup Penderita Rinosinusitis Kronik Pasca Bedah
Endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) is probably one of most important therapies for chronic chinosinusitis (CRS). Satisfaction following ESS for CRS has been reported in up to 98% for CRS has been reported in up to 98% patients. The objective of this study was to compare the health-related quality of life of patients who underwent conventional sinus sugery with those who underwent endoscopic sinus surgery.This was an analytic cross sectional study. Subjects were divided into conventional surgery group and endoscopic sinus surgery group. Each group consisted of 31 patients.The health-related quality life was compsred at minimal 6 months saths after surgery using the Sino-Nasal Outcome Test 20 (SNOT-20). Data was analyzed with x2 test and x2 Mantel Haenzel test. No significant difference of subjects characteristics (p>0.05). There was significant difference of the patients health-related quality of life according to allergy (p=0.001). There was nosignificant difference of mean SNOt20 score between hroups (p>0.05). There was significant difference of patient’s health-related quality of life according to allergy (p=0.033; adjor 29.433; 95% (CI1.318-657.202) and according to age 9P=0.032); adjOR 8.030;95%CI 1.197-53.886). There was no significant difference of patient’s health-related-quality of life in chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) between and conventional sinus surgery patients (p=0.095; 95% CI 0.574-1034.074)
