CGF 40% Mempercepat: Penyembuhan Penderita Demam Berdarah Dengue

To evaluate the effectiveness of CGD(Chorella growth Factor) 40% in hastering recuperation of DHF patient, indicated by reduced length of hospital stay, improvement in clinical status, increase in platelet counts, and reduction in hemoconcentration. The stay comprised of 84 consecutive DHF patient, randomized into control group receiving WHO standard therapy and intervention group receiving standard therapy + CGF 40%. Hemoglobin, hematocrit and thrombocyte counts were measured daily until the subjects were free of DHF symptoms and signs and the thrombocyte count>100.000. The results were analyzed with students t test and quadratic regression, using SPSS 16 software. The average length of reception time in the average length of recuperation time in the intervention and control groupswere 2.76 days and 4.43 days respectively (p=0.000). Recuperation times of subjects withthrombocyte counts 50.000 of the intervention group (3,09 and days 2,37) and the control group (4,2 and 4,5 day) were significant differently different (p=0.016 and 0.000).
