Efektifitas Pengelolaan Laboratorium untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Dasar Pratik Klinik (KDPK) di Jurusan Kebidanan Poltekkes Denpasar

this study aim to describe the carrying capacity, laboratory management, organizational systems, the intensity and effectiveness of the use of laboratory facilities clinical practice basic skills in the learning process, components are evaluated and constraints in the implementation of the practicum. the data obtained through interviews, questionnaire, recording documents and observation. then, the data were analyzed by descriptive and the conclusion was based on percentages and described qualitatively. the results showed that: 1). bearing capacity of laboratory facilities for the benefit of practical implementation of clinical practice basic skills, in general is good; 2). laboratory management organizational structure well qualified when viewed from the side chain of command and coordination lines, both in planning implementation in the laboratory and reporting functions; 3).intensity of utilization of laboratory equipment is very good; 5). in the evaluation of practice, there are ten aspects assessed in the activities of clinical laboratory practice of basic skills, such as: (1). skills using the tool, (2). working skills, (3). skills to identify problems, (4). communication skills with clients, (5). make the physical evidence, (6). discipline, (7). honesty, (8) persistence, (9) teamwork, and (10). accuracy, and the last result is showed about the barriers axperienced by lectures and students, like; the limited amount of laboratory space, the limited time the owned by lectures, laboratories narrow room, and a the big amount of student study group. based on the findings of this study, suggested to the istitutions in this directorate, would be expected to prioritize the procurement of the room, and adjustment of equipment to conform to the standard minimum requirements.
