In Indonesia, 5.32 million womenenter manopause each year, 47% experienced on increase in blood pressure asociated with the early symptoms of menopause. One possible cause is the decline in value of estrogen that is significant. Estrogen duty in mantaining smouth muscle contraction and the balance of saturated and unsaturated fats in the capillaries. Treatment for high blood pressure is using drugs and without drugs therapy including herbal way. Giving chayote juice for one. Chayote has a high content of potassium and diuretic effects that can reduce blood pressure. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is any efect of chayote juice for blod pressure reduction of menopausal women. This research design using pre-experimental with the aim to find out whether there chayote juice effect on blood presure reduction of menopausal women. The population of this study were 30 menopausal women in PHC Kendal Kerep Malang where the purposive sampling the sample obtained was 25 respondents. Data were processed using T Test. From the results of the study 25 post menopausal women, blood pressure systole was obtained which increased 4%, still 4%, down 92% while the diastole blood pressure which increased 4%, fised 20%, down 76%.
