Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Model Kepercayaan Kesehatan dengan Kepatuhan Ibu Hamil Mengonsumsi Suplemen Besi (studi di Poli Hamil Puskesmas Krian Kecamatan Krian Kabupaten Sidoarjo Propinsi Jawa Timur)
Prevalency of pregnant women sufferin iton deficiency anaemia in Indonesia is remain over 50%. The data shws taht for more than thirty yeras since its initation, the supllementation program didna’at reach the optimum goal yet. Previous study declared low compliance among pregnant women on consuming the iron tablets rountinely, although they don’t meed to purchase the drug. This study conducted to analyze the correlation betwen pregnant women’s knowledge and Health Beliefs Model with their compliance on consuming the iron supplements. Desaign need in this study was cross sectional, involving 60 pregnant women on their atenanatal visit at Pregnancy Out-patient Department Krian Primary Health Centre. District of Sidoarjo, East Java Province. Independent variables were measured by questionnaire, the modified Morisky Scale used to Assess women’s compliance on consuming iron tablets. Bivariable quantitative analysis measured the correlation among independent variables with the dependent variable. Multiple logistic regression applied to identify the element(s) of Health Belifiefs Model that strongly correlated with compliance on consuming iron supplements. Result shows that knowledge is positively correlated with compliance (c₂=3,896; p=0.048), as well as the total scare of Health Beliefs Model (ῆ=0.545;p=0,00). Percelived benefits and obstracles is the strongest, predictor for iroconsuming compliance (OR=3,536 ; 95%CI 1,010-12.383).
