Pengaruh Transcutaneous Electrical Nervestimulations (Tens) terhadap Penurunan Nyeri Dysmenorrhea di Poltekkes Depkes Malang
Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulations (TENS) is a from elektrosimulasi with 2 pairs of electrades attached to the skin surface . TENS is a non-farmakologik technique which has allergedly hipoalgesik affects by stimulating the production of endogenous endorphins. The research objective: to Analyze the influence of TENs on pain reduction in dysmenorrhea. Benefits expected to help the midwfie or nurse in providing a safe technique and a comfortable and effective in reducing pain dysmenorrhe. Research methods: pre-experiment with one group of reserach design pre-test post-test. Population students Prodi D.III obstetrics and Gynecology Kediri and Malang Departement of polytechnic experiencing dysmenorrhea. Sampling techniques with porposive sampling. N=30. Data collection techniques: using a visual analogue scale to measure intensity of pain before and after treatment. Technique analysis: Matcs Pair Wilcoxon Test, p=0.05. The results showed significantly TENS (4.885 count Z> Z tables 1.645; p=0.000) reduce pain dysmenorrhea. Of the 30 respondents showed 100% reduction in pain intensity after receiving electrical stimulation of TENTS. Conclusion: TENTS thus highly infleuntial in reducing pain dysmenorrhea. Suggestion. It is recommended to use TENS as a non farmakologik techniques and alternatives to reduce the pain of dysmenorrhea.
