Hubungan Vulva Hygiene dengan Penyembuhan Luka Perineum pada Ibu Nifas
Childbirth often resulted in the birth canal tears, tears ocasred in nearly aI/ deliveries the first time and not infrequently also on the next delivery. This tear caused by spontaneous Iecerstion of the vagina or perineum when the baby is born or on the actions of episiotomy to expedite the birth of a baby when acquired fetal distress. The normal healing process of the tears within a week after delivery with the criteria of stitches to dose and dry wound. If it happens extension of healing can cause occurrence of infection, hematoma, hypertrophic scar formation, and cel/oids. In order to avoid the incidence of infection, it Is very important to maintain the deanliness of the vulva and perineum. In addition to avoiding the occurrence of infection, vulvar hygiene is also one of the factors that affect wound healing. The objective this study is to know the relationship between vulvar hygiene with perineal wound healing In post partum. This study used an observational analytic using cross sectional design, the sample using simpie random sampling technique. Data was anaiyzed with chi square (X 2). Resuits of study presented is there is reiationship between vuivar hygiene with perineal wound healing in post partum. Suggested to midwives to further promote and disseminate information through education about hygiene implement the vulva is good and right for mothers post partum.
